Two Injured After Police Pursuit, Crash In Norwalk; Geneva Road Closed

NORWALK, Conn. — Geneva Road in Norwalk was closed late Thursday morning after two people were seriously hurt in a crash after a police pursuit, according to the Norwalk Police Department and The Hour.

Geneva Road was expected to remain closed between Richards Avenue and Fillow Street for a long period of time during the police investigation. 

Two people were extricated from the badly damaged vehicle, which slammed into a tree, The Hour said. 

A Norwalk police officer was involved in the pursuit but suffered no injuries, police told The Hour.

The Connecticut State Police is taking over of the investigation of the incident.
