NORWALK, Conn. -- Two men are facing assault charges in connection with an attack near the South Norwalk train station late Sunday, police said.
Rocael Grave, 23, of 3758 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, and Fernando Grave, 21, of 12 Cleveland Terrace, are each facing one count of third-degree assault. Each is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 12.
Details on the incident were sketchy as a full report was not available Monday morning, police said. However, the victim told police he was assaulted by three Hispanic males in the area of the northbound side of the train station just after 10 p.m.
The attackers ran to the State Street side of the train station, police said. Officers checked video surveillance from the parking area and were able to send out descriptions of the suspects to other officers, who were able to nab two, police said.
The extent of the injuries was unknown.
