Two Arrested After Assault On Mulvoy Street In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — A man was assaulted on Mulvoy Street in Norwalk by two people who might have mistaken him for someone else, according to the Hour.

The incident took place Wednesday afternoon, when the man said he was approached by two other men who asked him about a prior incident he knew nothing about, the Hour reported. When he told them they might have the wrong guy, one of them punched him in the face and reached for an object with a black handle, according to the Hour. 

After a scuffle, the two men fled and the victim went to police headquarters to report the incident, according to the Hour. Police searched the area and located 23-year-old Reginald Lezeau of Norwalk and 20-year-old Clervensky Estime of Florida, who were arrested, the Hour reported. Lezeau was charged with third-degree assault and weapons in a motor vehicle, and Estime was charged with weapons in a motor vehicle.
