Truck Knocks Down Pole And Wires On Bluff Avenue In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- A garbage truck hit a pole and knocked down wires on Bluff Avenue in Norwalk Monday morning.

The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. Monday when an independent trash removal truck hit wires attached to a pole on Bluff Avenue, according to police. The truck pulled the wires down along with the pole, police said. 

Police reported that there were live wires hanging over the road, and crews were en route to fix the damaged pole. The road was closed off as of 11 a.m. Monday.
