Accident Slowing Traffic on I-95 Around Exit 15 in Norwalk

UPDATED 6 p.m. According to Norwalk Deputy Fire Chief Gino Gatto, a woman was driving her car northbound on I-95 and “somehow lost control of her car and went off the roadway” going through a grass divider before rolling onto the Route 7 entry ramp.

“She was standing up and out of the car when we arrived,” Gatto said, but she was transported to Norwalk Hospital after complaining of neck and back pains.

The Fire Department arrived on scene at around 4 p.m. and left a little under an hour later clearing the roadway.

NORWALK, Conn. – A one car accident on northbound I-95 is slowing traffic around exit 15 going towards Route 7.

The dispatch of the Connecticut State Police said that the trooper is still on scene investigating the cause of the crash. 

According to the Twitter account of state Sen. Bob Duff, D-Norwalk, the accident "will be rubbernecking. Everyone looks ok."
