Suspects Pistol Whip Clerk In Norwalk Armed Robbery

NORWALK, Conn. -- A Cumberland Farms employee suffered non-life threatening injuries after being pistol-whipped by two masked men in an armed robbery just before midnight, Norwalk Police said.

The clerk suffered a head injury after the two suspects described as two white males robbed the store of cash around 11:30 p.m., Lt. Terry Blake said. The business is located at 136 Main St.

Norwalk has been hit by a number of armed robberies including a pair of food delivery men, one of whom was shot and wounded last week, as well as the armed robbery of Rainbow News and Variety.
