Stamford Teen Charged With Greenwich Burglaries

GREENWICH, Conn. — A Stamford teen was arrested in connection with two July home burglaries in Greenwich, according to Greenwich Time.

The two homes were located in Old Greenwich, and were entered through unsecured entryways while the residents were sleeping, according to Greenwich Time. In both cases, the burglar took personal belongings, cash and purses, police told Greenwich Time.

The Stamford teen, whose name was not released because he is only 17 years old, was eventually detained in Stamford, according to Greenwich Time. Police used physical evidence to link the suspect to the July burglaries, and he was charged with first-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and criminal trespass, according to Greenwich Time.
