Slow Down: Norwalk Police Step Up Speed Enforcement For Back To School

NORWALK, Conn. — Watch your speed: The Norwalk Department of Police Service will be conducting zero tolerance motor vehicle enforcement efforts throughout the city starting Monday, Aug. 29.

Multiple officers will fan out across the city over the next two weeks to conduct speed enforcement in preparation for the start of school. 

Drivers are reminded to be observant of the increased pedestrian traffic when school starts Aug. 31. 

Additionally drivers should obey the directions of the school crossing guards, who will be posted throughout the city.
