Senator Duff Names Norwalk Police Chief Kulhawik To Sentencing Commission

NORWALK, Conn. - State Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff (D-Norwalk) has appointed Norwalk Police Chief Thomas Kulhawik to the Connecticut Sentencing Commission.

Kulhawik, a member of the Norwalk Police Department since 1983, has been police chief since July 2012.

“Chief Kulhawik has served the City of Norwalk with distinction,” Duff said in a press release. “His three decades of law enforcement experience will make him a great asset and resource for the sentencing commission.”

The commission regularly reviews the state’s criminal justice laws, policies and guidelines.

“I am honored by this appointment by Sen. Duff,” said Kulhawik in a press release. “The sentencing commission has been involved in very important work and I am looking forward to being a part of this esteemed group of professionals from throughout the state.”
