Second Suspect Arrested In Norwalk Armed Robbery

NORWALK, Conn. -- A second suspect has been arrested in the November armed robbery of a variety store on Main Street.

James Thompson, 25, of Norwalk was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny. He was held on $500,000 bond and will appear in court on Jan. 23.

The robbery occurred at the In & Out Variety Store on Nov. 25 at 9:46 p.m. Hector Diaz, 19, of Norwalk was arrested in December and charged with being the gunman who brandished a silver revolver in the robbery, police said. Nobody was injured in the incident, and no shots were fired,  police said.
