Safe Stolen From Norwalk Residence

NORWALK, Conn. – A safe was reported stolen Wednesday from a home on Highland Avenue, Norwalk police said.

The contents of the safe, and its location in the house, were not disclosed as the investigation into the burglary continues.

According to Officer Carlton Giles, the homeowners reported the burglary about 9:30 p.m. when they returned home.The front-door lock had been broken to gain entry.
