Rollover Crash Of Jeep Cleared From Busy Intersection In Norwalk

Updated: NORWALK, Conn. — A rollover accident involving a Jeep that ended up on its side jammed traffic in Norwalk Monday afternoon near the Norwalk Green.

The Jeep rolled over near the intersection of Westport Avenue and East Avenue near St. Paul's on the Green after a collision.

Norwalk police kept the message simple on Twitter: "Avoid the area."

The crash was reported at about 2:20 p.m. Monday.

The Jeep colliding with another vehicle while making the turn from Westport Avenue to East Avenue, according to The Hour. The driver of the overturned Jeep was found at fault and issued an infraction.

There were no injuries in the crash.
