Officers were dispatched to Los Luceros grocery store on Woodward Avenue at 11:30 p.m. Sunday on a report of a robbery. Employees told officers that they were closing the store up for the evening when they were approached by a Hispanic man with a handgun who demanded money from the employees, police said. After leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, the man was seen fleeing in a dark-colored sedan toward Bart Avenue, police said. Nobody was injured in the incident.

On Monday afternoon a man reported that he was robbed near the South Norwalk train station, according to police. The man said he was at the train station when he was approached by three black males, one of whom was carrying a knife, according to police reports. The three men stole cash from the victim and ran off, police said. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspects, police said. The victim was not injured in the incident.

Officers responded to the area of 19 Van Buren Ave. early Tuesday morning on a report of a fight, police said. When they arrived, they spoke to someone who said that he and three other people were in a car at a stop light when they were approached by four other men, police said.

The complainant said that the four men attacked the car, reaching into an open window and assaulting one of the passengers, according to police reports. They demanded money from the occupants of the car, the complainant told police. Three men got out of the car and started fighting their attackers, according to police reports.

The driver of the car drove off, leaving the other three at the scene. The suspects then jumped into a green Toyota Camry and left. One of the victims was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries to his face.

The Detective Bureau is currently investigating all three cases, and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
