Report: Man Sentenced To 80 Years In Norwalk Double Manslaughter

NORWALK, Conn. – Gilbert Orlando was sentenced Monday to 80 years in prison after being found guilty of first-degree manslaughter with a firearm in the 2010 Norwalk shooting death of his ex-wife and her mother, The Hour reported.

Orlando, 60, shot his ex-wife Enid Dickens, 57, and her mother Rona Knight, 73, at her home on Couch Street in Norwalk on June 14, 2010.  In April 2013, a three-judge panel found Orlando guilty of two counts of first-degree manslaughter – with a maximum sentence of 80 years, the report said.
