Radiators, Pipes Stolen From Vacant Norwalk Home

NORWALK, Conn. – Four cast-iron radiators and other metal items were reported stolen Tuesday from a vacant home on Maple Street, Norwalk police said.

In addition to the radiators, copper baseboard pipes were also reported stolen from the house, police said. After the items were removed, water was able to flow freely throughout the house, which flooded the basement, police said.

Police are investigating the theft. The department has spoken to Lajoie’s and other area scrapyards to be on the lookout for the items, police said.
