NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Historical Society's board president is facing narcotics-related charges after being "caught with crystal meth," according to The Hour Online.

Thomas Arbron, 54, was arrested and charged with narcotics-related offenses, according to the report. Norwalk Police told The Hour Online that they caught Arbron "with crystal meth during an early Wednesday morning raid," according to the report.

Norwalk Police found "about 3 grams of crystal meth as well as drug paraphernalia," according to the report.

He has been removed from his position on the board, according to The Hour Online. Dianne Jellerette, executive director of the historical society, said:?"We were surprised and disappointed to learn the news regarding Mr. Tom Arbron. The board of directors has acted to remove Mr. Arbron from its' board, effective immediately. We remain focused on continuing our mission to preserve and educate the public on Norwalk's rich history and appreciate the continued strong support from the public."
