Police: Woman and Knife-Wielding Man Refuse To Leave Fairfield Pub

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A man and a woman were arrested early Saturday when they refused to leave a Post Road pub and he pulled out a folding knife and threatened to kill employees, police said.

Ashley Case, 30, of Barrows Street, Stratford, and Dana Muratori, 42, of Greenlawn Drive, Fairfield, were each charged with second-degree breach of peace in the 2 a.m. incident at Grace O’Malley’s Irish Pub.

Muratori held a knife toward the bouncers and also said he would shoot and kill employees just before police officers arrived and arrested them, police said.

Muratori, who was also charged with second-degree threatening, was held on $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20, police said.

Case was released on a promise to appear in court on Nov. 20.
