On Friday, Luke Montgomery 19, of Hillspoint Road, was charged with obtaining controlled drugs fraud.

In November 2016, Norwalk police were investigating the theft of the prescription pad when they learned someone attempted to fill a prescription with it at a Westport pharmacy, police said.

Westport police identified the suspect as Montgomery and got a warrant for his arrest.

On Friday, Southern Connecticut State University police told Westport police they had Montgomery in custody and he was transported to Westport.

He was unable to post a $10,000 bond and was transported to Norwalk Court for arraignment on Saturday, police said.
