Police were called to the complex at 10:10 a.m. on the report of a fight at 356 Main Ave. The call was upgraded to a stabbing with one single male victim, police said.

Norwalk Hospital EMS rushed the male victim to Norwalk Hospital. Police said the man sustained stab-type non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the stabbing began as a verbal argument between two males that know each other that turned physical. The suspect produced a knife and used it on the victim, police said.

The police department’s detective bureau is on site as well as the crime scene unit, which is processing the scene, police said.

Multiple units were on site late Wednesday morning and yellow crime scene tape blocked off a parking lot in the complex, which is set back from Main Avenue.

Police said they would release an update on the stabbing shortly.
