Police: Norwalk Woman Jumped From Window In Domestic Dispute

NORWALK, Conn. – A Norwalk woman leaped out a third-story window during a domestic disturbance Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The woman told police that she is in the process of breaking up with her former girlfriend, Khalilah Blankimsee, 35, of Bridgeport, according to police reports. Blankimsee reportedly made many threats to the woman, threatening to shoot her or stab her, and claiming she would “put her in the hospital” if she tried to leave, police said.

The victim was packing at her home in Roodner Court on Tuesday afternoon when she saw Blankimsee through a window, she later told police. Blankimsee then tried to come in through the front door, moving a sofa that had been placed in front of the door, according to the police report.

The victim then jumped out of a nearby window, leaving her 3-year-old son inside, police said. She fell onto a second-story fire escape, suffering a knee injury, police said. She was taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment, and the child was left with a family member, according to the police report.

Blankimsee was not there when officers arrived. She was later found on the street nearby and placed under arrest, police said.

Blankimsee was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree threatening, risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct. She was held on $25,000 bond and is due in court Wednesday.
