Police: Norwalk Teen Mugged By Group On Flax Hill Road

NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk teenager reported he was mugged by a group of men on Flax Hill Road on Tuesday night, police said.

The 19-year-old man told police that he was near Arbor Drive at about 9:15 p.m. when he was jumped by a group of five black men wearing black hooded sweatshirts, police said. He said one of the men was armed with a knife, police said.

They told him to give them his money, and then began to hit and kick him, police said. After they stole his money and other personal items, he was able to escape and run home, police said.

The man did not suffer any major injuries, police said. The Detective Bureau was investigating the report.
