David Langley, 47, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and criminal mischief. He was held on $500 bond and will appear in court Nov. 14.

Police were called to a grocery store on Bouton Street at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a disturbance. Officers spoke with employees, who said Langley had gotten in a fight with a delivery man for unknown reasons, police said.

When he was told to leave, Langley refused and pushed the delivery man, according to police reports. At one point, an employee picked up a baseball bat to defend himself, but didn't use it, police said.

Langley then left the building and started banging on the door, breaking part of the door frame, according to police. He then stood outside the store, swinging the door frame, police said.

Officers then arrived and found Langley walking away from the store, police said. He denied doing anything in the store, police said. He was taken into custody.
