NORWALK, Conn. — Multiple callers reported shots fired at the Roodner Court housing complex Monday night, but responding officers did not find any injuries or damage, police said.

Police said “numerous” units responded to Building 19 at the housing complex at 9:59 p.m. Officers had found no evidence of anything or anyone struck by the reported shots as of Tuesday morning, police said.

Police said at least one caller reported “people running everywhere."

The detective bureau is investigating the incident, police said.

Police also responded to Building 14 of the housing complex early Tuesday at 3:07 a.m. for a smoke alarm possibly caused by a lit firecracker, police said.
