Police were called to the church at about 5 p.m. by the Rev. Carlos Rodrigues, who heard a crashing noise and found a naked woman in her 40s brandishing a fire extinguisher and yelling, “There is a bomb,” the Advocate said.

The woman was taken into custody and sent by ambulance to Stamford Hospital for evaluation, the Advocate said.

She shattered a ceramic angel, broke a door to the rectory and broke a closed window to get into the chapel, the Advocate said.
