Police: Man Injured in Early Morning Shooting Near House Party in Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — A man sustained “non-life threatening” injuries in a shooting near a house party in Norwalk early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to the area of Winfield Street for a report of shots fired at 12:43 a.m. early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the area of 68 Winfield Street for a report of shots fired at 12:43 a.m. They located numerous people in the area due to a house party, police said.

Officers also located shell casings in front of 68 Winfield Street, police said.

A short time later, Norwalk Hospital reported a male had arrived from Winfield Street suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police said. Police did not disclose the man’s age in a statement.
