NORWALK, Conn. – A man who claimed to have a gun held up a Norwalk store early Monday, Norwalk Police reported. Police have obtained photos of the suspect from video surveillance footage and are asking for help identifying him.
The robbery of the 7-Eleven at 247 Main Ave. was reported at 4:16 a.m. The 66-year-old clerk, who had been robbed before, said he was alone at the time, Sgt. James Boff said. He had gone to the restroom and when he returned a man who said he had a gun told him to hurry up and turn over the money in the register.
The man did not show a gun, Boff said. He fled on foot, and a police dog, Kimbo, followed a trail that ended on Jefferson Street.
Police are seeking a clean shaven black man in his mid-30s, about 5-foot 7-inches tall with a medium build. The man was dressed in black and police think he has dreadlocks, based on a witness description.
Anyone with information should call Det. David Hudyma at 203-854-3189.

WOW YET MORE LIES FROM THE TROLL
It seem our resident troll is now posting as Awon Apooponyou. The moron has just open his account today and has already trolled 12 of my posts with his usual lies , spam, and not 1 accurate fact. Are these trolls so fearful of my posts that they waste a Saturday morning reviewing weeks of My posts? I guess I should consider this a compliment..Shame that the troll has no life.
Actually Tim, you can verify my facts anywhere. The CT judicial branch website for conviction status of the cases I mentioned. Or you can just google them and read the articles on the trials and convictions. Do you not know how to do that? Seems pretty simple to me. Oh yeah, I forgot...you ARE a simpleton. Sorry Tim, I'll give you the detailed instructions on how to look this info up for people with sub 100 IQ. I have a new nickname for you, by the way, Forest Gump....
Holy crap! Tim T wrong yet again!
Plenty of crimes are solved by the NPD. Like the Shell Gas Station murder/robbery, which is going to trial this month. Like the Colonial Village bloodbath murder/multiple shootings. Like the Christmas murder or Mr. Paulk. Like the murder of homeless man Mr. Cubillos, in which the suspect received the longest sentence on record at the Stamford Courthouse.
And get it straight. When your victim does not cooperate with police by saying things like, "I ain't a snitch," not much can be done. NO prosecutor will try a case in which a victim does not cooperate with the police and agree to take the stand. This is FACT, not the conjecture you love to lean on when you post Tim.
I love proving you wrong, Tim. But it is getting a bit easy for me....
They will get the guy. The report does not mention if he actually made off with $.
Hope we get a new president to fix the economy and people will stop robbing...
Moron aka Robtard aka Pony tail Steve people do not rob because of the economy..Are you really that stupid or do you post just for attention?
Big weekend for the Norwalk out of Control crime epidemic. Still a perfect record of ZERO CRIMES SOLVED NY THE NPD
