Police Investigate Accident After Finding Car In Norwalk Creek

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police are asking for the public's help in an investigation of a one-car accident Thursday that involves a driver who fled the scene after the car hit an embankment and rolled into a creek, according to The Hour.

Police found the empty, black Infiniti on its side in the water around 10:40 p.m., just off Rowayton Avenue near Woodchuck Lane. The car is registered to a Norwalk resident, who police said must have fled on foot, The Hour says.

Anyone with information should call the Norwalk Police Department at (203) 854-3000. Anonymous tips are also encouraged, The Hour reports.
