Squad members arrested Justine Riviera, 31, around 9 p.m. Wednesday, after receiving intel that he would be bringing drugs to the area, said Capt. Richard Conklin.

Police set-up a watch of the area he was expected and were able to grab him on Canal Street near Ludlow Street when he pulled up in his white Jeep, Conklin said.

During a search of his car, officers uncovered seven folds of heroin, two zip locked bags with power cocaine and a bag containing a half-ounce of marijuana in a folded up umbrella. They also found a half-gram of cocaine in his shirt pocket, Conklin added.

Riviera was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of marijuana. He is being held on a $2,500 court appearance bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
