NORWALK, Conn. -- Someone fired multiple shots at a group of people outside a grocery store in Norwalk on Friday night, but no injuries were reported, according to police.

The group was standing outside a grocery store on West Cedar Street at about 8 p.m. Friday when someone came out from behind a parked car and fired multiple rounds at the group, police said.

Nobody in the group was hit, and no one was able to identify the person who fired the shots, according to police.

The matter is being investigated by the Detective Bureau.

Another housing project and another high crime area. Bet knocking on doors will find 90% democrats too.

That area has a ton of drug dealers. When I had a wharehouse on that street, we would watch the big shiny brand new caddy escalade pull up, they have people in the front yard watching both ways for police. They would pretend to be playing cards, it was pretty obvious to watching if you know what to look for
The driver would enter with a luggage bag and leave without it.

It seems like it's going to be another long summer of violence in Norwalk... Time to call in the state PD to do the job that the Norwalk police department is not capable of doing.

This is what happens when you have a police department that has 100 s of unsolved violent crimes. We pay outrageous taxes in Norwalk and we deserve better.
