Pair Of Norwalk Shootings Cause No Injuries But Strike Two Homes

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police are investigating a pair of shootings within a half-hour of one another in which no one was hurt but two residences were struck by bullets late Sunday.

Police were called at 11:02 p.m. Sunday to 106 S. Main St., after reports of shots fired. When officers arrived they discovered shell casing in the area and a bullet in the residence at 106 S. Main St., police said. 

At 11:27 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to North Taylor Avenue after a resident at 28 N. Taylor Ave. reported hearing gun shots, police said. Officers discovered shell casings and also found that the residence had been hit by bullets, said Lt. Terry Blake.

He didn't disclose what calibre the shell casings were in either incident. He said police are investigating the incident to see if they are related.
