Jaymee King, of Huckleberry Drive South, was pulled over on Post Road East because the car she was driving had tinted windows but no visible tinting sticker from the Department of Motor Vehicles, the police report said. When the officer approached the car, he smelled marijuana coming from inside, the report said.

The officer then saw King hide a glassine baggie containing a green leafy substance — later determined to be marijuana — in her pants, according to the police report. King later turned over the bag, which contained several smaller baggies of marijuana, the report said.

She was also found in possession of prescription pills that were not prescribed to her, and drug paraphernalia, police said.

King was charged possession of narcotics and sale of a controlled substance, both felonies. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than 4 ounces of marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors.

She was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Feb. 14.

King’s passenger, 22-year-old Alexander Balitsos of Wilton, was also searched and found in possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and a metal pipe with marijuana residue, police said. Balitsos was given an infraction.
