In the Friday incident, police were contacted about 6:15 p.m. by TJ Maxx reporting that a current employee stole merchandise from the store, police said.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the employee, Flora Terdevaj, 43, of Norwalk, who allegedly admitted to stealing three items that were currently in her vehicle, according to police.
Officers allegedly found those items, a Michael Kors wallet, picture frame and perfume in her vehicle, said police.
Terdevaj was brought to Wilton police headquarters for processing, charged with sixth-degree larceny, then released on a promise to appear Monday, May 9, in Norwalk court, said police.
The case is still under investigation, according to police.
