NORWALK, Conn. – A 15-year-old Norwalk resident faces criminal charges after bringing a pellet gun to a Brien McMahon High School football game Friday night, according to police reports.
Authorities discovered that the student had brought the pellet gun into the stands during McMahon’s game against Harding Friday evening. The gun is designed to shoot plastic BB-style pellets, police said.
After a police investigation, the teen was charged with reckless endangerment Monday morning. He has also been suspended from school and referred to the Board of Education, according to police reports.
The teen was released on a juvenile summons with a promise to appear in court Monday. The juvenile and his parents are cooperating with police, according to police reports.
