Norwalk Police: Two Ponus Ridge Students Had Pot

NORWALK, Conn. – Two unnamed students at Ponus Ridge Middle School were arrested in separate incidents Wednesday on juvenile charges of possession of marijuana, police said.

School Principal Linda Sumpter reported to police that small amounts of marijuana were discovered in the students’ lockers, according to Norwalk Police Sgt. Lisa Cotto.

Details of the searches that led to the arrests, and the amount of marijuana confiscated, were not disclosed.
