Norwalk Police Sergeant Says Goodbye After 27 Years

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Police Sgt. Charlie Perez retired from the force on Monday, Dec. 23, after 27 years of service. 

Perez had served in a variety of divisions and roles with the department, most recently as a patrol supervisor on the third platoon.

He will continue to serve the community as an officer for the Connecticut Department of Health.
