Norwalk Police Seize A Pound Of Pot In Traffic Stop

NORWALK, Conn. — Third platoon officers seized one pound of marijuana from a car during a traffic stop on Connecticut Avenue on Wednesday night, Norwalk police said.

On Instagram, Norwalk police praised the work of Officer Dimeglio, Officer Montanez and K-9 Officer Kai. 

The suspect, Tyre Holman, 20, of Norwalk, was charged with sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, failure to drive in the proper lane, and failure to comply with traffic signal, according to The Hour

The large baggie containing one pound of marijuana was found in a backpack in Holman’s car by the K-9 officer, The Hour said.

Bond for Holman was set at $7,500.
