Norwalk police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the three men who committed the assault at 4:45 a.m. Saturday at the Mobil Gas Station on East Avenue.
The three are believed to have targeted the victim because he had a large amount of cash in his possession, according to police. Nothing was taken from the victim, but he sustained injuries in the assault, police said. There were no weapons displayed or implied during the attack.
All three were described as light-skinned black or Hispanic males wearing distinctive clothing. One was wearing a black and white hooded jacket with a graphic and stripes on the front, black sleeves with white stars, and vertical black lines on the back. The second was wearing a white jacket with black stars down the sleeves. The third was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and jeans, police said.
The three fled the scene in a newer model gray four-door sedan, possibly a Honda Accord or similar car, according to police.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects or their clothing is asked to contact Detective Justin Bisceglie at 203-854-3181 or email jbisceglie@norwalkct.org
