Norwalk Police Seek Suspect In Car Burglaries In Maritime Garage

NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk police detectives are seeking help in identifying a suspect connected to recent car burglaries in the Maritime Parking Garage, police said Saturday.

The two motor vehicle burglaries occurred Oct. 25 in the garage at 11 N. Water St. 

The suspect was described as a thin black male with dreadlocks and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black sneakers. 

He can be seen on video surveillance wandering around the parking garage, police said. 

The suspect then breaks the rear passenger window of an Acura with a long metal object and removes a backpack and jacket, police said. 

He then circles the garage and breaks the driver’s side window of a Honda CRV but does not remove any items, police said. 

The suspect is known to frequent the South Norwalk area, police said.
