NORWALK, Conn. – Images of the man suspected in Wednesday's shooting of a Greenwich woman at a Norwalk supermarket were released Friday by Norwalk police.

The images, enhanced from surveillance camera footage, show a man running into the parking lot of the Best Buy shopping area. The woman was shot in the abdomen while in her car at the Stop & Shop parking lot at 385 Connecticut Ave., across the street. She was still in Norwalk Hospital Friday morning, Sgt. Lisa Cotto said. Sgt. Tom Roncinske believes she is still in the hospital Saturday morning.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Det. David Orr at (203) 854-3190 or dorr@norwalkct.org. All calls and emails will be kept confidential.

The first time I came here, less than 10 seconds the display is perfectly open, and the loading is completed less than 20 seconds and to open the article only took about 7 seconds. So I think this is very fast! Incredible! Trying to maintain!

It is awful news to hear. This man should be arrested on spot. I hope this image will help the police to arrest the guilty. The shop in West-port is not much safer until such incidents are cut down. Thank you so much for such informative blog.

@ENorwalk

And just why would you liken this grainy image of a SHOOTING SUSPECT to President Obama?

ENorwalk:

Calm down, it was just a joke. Figured it would fit in with all of the stupid comments everyone posts on this site.

tross61:

Well, it was a joke that was lost on me and to be honest with you, you shouldn't want to 'fit in' with those that you think are making 'stupid comments' . . . you should want to have them come up to your level and not sink down to theirs.

NorwalkLifer:

because obviously this person is breathtakingly stupid

Much safer to shop in Westport! This picture looks like Obama and could be the first thing he has done in 4 years! I hope they catch him.

NorwalkLifer:

This is a disgusting post, but then again, some people in this town have no shame, the rest of us don't expect certain individuals to have shame, given their propensity to cleanse their private parts in public.

ENorwalk:

Gross, now that is crossing the line!

The Norwalk Truth,

A blurry photo is better than nothing at all. So unless you have a better photo to provide it's probably best that you don't say anything at all.

sheesh.
