Norwalk Police Release Photos Of Suspect In Bank Robbery

NORWALK, Conn. -- Police are searching for a man who robbed the Webster Bank on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk on Friday morning.

The suspect entered the bank at around 10:05 a.m. and passed a note, police said. He indicated that he had a weapon but did not display one, police said. Once he had obtained money, he fled on a foot across the street to Stop & Shop, where he got into a vehicle and fled from the area, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 50s, with a medium build and 5 feet, 6 inches tall, police said. He walked with a cane in his right hand and had a large gap between his top front teeth, according to police reports.
