NORWALK, Conn. -- After 31 years of working the streets of Norwalk, Officer Mark Kucky walked out of the police department for the last time on Friday, Feb. 26 as fellow officers lined the walkway to wish him good-bye.

Chief Thomas Kulhawik joined the troops at Kucky's last line up to thank him for his years of service.

Last March, Kucky received the Officer of the Month award for rendering aid to a man who had been stabbed numerous times. He also received the Medal of Merit twice for saving the lives of two people.
