Norwalk Police: Man Shot After 'Disturbance' In Roadway

NORWALK, Conn. — A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was shot after a "disturbance in the roadway" Friday evening in Norwalk, police said. 

The shooting occurred at Sheridan Street at Lincoln Avenue in South Norwalk.

The Norwalk Department of Police Service Detective Bureau is actively investigating the shooting, which occurred at 7:02 p.m. on Sheridan Street at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue, police said. 

A male gunshot victim was transported to Norwalk Hospital.  for treatment, police said.

"The shooting appears to be an isolated incident arising from a disturbance in the roadway," police said.
