NORWALK, Conn. – Jewelry and other undisclosed items were reported stolen Wednesday from a home on Spring Hill Avenue in Norwalk, police said.

Thieves broke into the house by smashing a rear, first-floor bathroom window, and later left through a sliding glass door, police said. The break-in was discovered by the homeowner about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The burglars ransacked three second-floor bedrooms where they found the jewelry and other personal items. Police did not disclose the values of the items taken.
