Norwalk Police Investigate Fatal Self-Inflicted Gunshot

NORWALK, Conn. -- A resident of the Winnipauk Village condominium complex on Aiken Street appears to have died Thursday night from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to Norwalk police.

The identity of the victim had not been released as of 9:30 p.m., police said. The shooting occurred at about 8:30 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Norwalk police detectives, led by Lt. Thomas Roncinske, were at the scene and investigating.
