Norwalk Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting, Assault

NORWALK, Conn., -- Police are seeking more information after a man walked into Norwalk Hospital around 1 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police said the victim claimed the shooting occurred in the area of Water Street and Washington Street.

A short time later at 1:41 a.m. a victim approached at officer at Norwalk Hospital claiming to have been assaulted on Westport Avenue. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information on these two incidents to contact them.
