Norwalk Police Investigate Deli Robbery

NORWALK, Conn. -- Two men robbed the Soundview Deli and Grocery on Soundview Avenue in Norwalk Wednesday, according to police.

Police said that both suspects were wearing masks and gloves. One suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black pants with white stripes, and white shoes. He stayed just inside the front door during the robbery. The second suspect was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with white writing, dark pants and dark shoes, and went behind the counter and forced the clerk to the ground.

The suspects removed cash from the register and stole the clerk's purse. They then fled onto Cliff Street. No weapons were displayed and nobody was hurt.
