Norwalk Police Identify Shooting Suspect

NORWALK, Conn. – The name and description of a suspect in Thursday's shooting at Roodner Court have been released by Norwalk police, who say the man they are looking for should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say Terry Peterson, 22, shot his sister's boyfriend in the hallway of Roodner Court Building 12 Thursday evening. They have obtained a warrant for his arrest on a first-degree assault charge.

Peterson is described as 5-foot 8-inches tall and 170 pounds. He has a medium build and a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts and orange sneakers.

The victim, 30, was shot in his upper body, police say. He was transported to Norwalk Hospital for surgery. Police have not released his name. 

Peterson also has a warrant for criminal trespass and he was not allowed in Roodner Court, police say.
