Norwalk Police Identify 5-Year-Old Struck And Killed By Car

NORWALK, Conn. -- Police have identified the 5-year-old boy struck and killed by a car in a driveway on Woodacre Road Thursday as Peter Tinnen-Strmiska, a resident of Norwalk.

Police said that Tinnen-Strmiska was in the driveway when he was struck by a car pulling into the driveway at around 5:10 p.m. Thursday. Police and EMS arrived on scene and rendered aid to Tinnen-Strmiska. He was taken to Norwalk Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.

The accident remains under investigation.

Tinnen-Strmiska's mother Kayla Tinnen has set up a GoFundMe to help pay for her son's burial.
