Officers were called to the bank at 12:19 a.m. Saturday on the report of a robbery, police said. The suspect was described as a thin white man between 5 foot, 6 inches and 5 foot, 8 inches tall. He was wearing a gray jacket with a white shirt underneath and a black ski mask, police said.

The man displayed a black semi-automatic handgun during the robbery, possibly a .45-caliber, police said. After leaving the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on a black BMX-style bicycle, police said.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, but police said one occupant of the bank was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Officers responded quickly to the scene and secured the bank, police said. Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to apprehend the suspect Saturday. The Detective Bureau collected evidence at the scene and is following up on leads, police said.
