Norwalk Police Host Holiday Party At Columbus Magnet

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Community Policing Unit hosted the annual PAL Kids Holiday Party at Columbus Magnet School on Chestnut Street on Dec. 8.

A total of 150 children were hosted by members of the Community Policing Unit at the event. Santa Claus stopped by for a visit, making for a great start to the holiday season.

The Community Policing Unit gives a special thanks to Community Police Officer Hector Delgado, who played a huge role in acquiring donations to include 30 bicycles.

Thank you to all the generous donors to the Norwalk Community Police PAL Christmas Party: BJ Ryan's Foundation, Norwalk Police Union, Norwalk Police Guardians, The Marvin staff and residents, Costco, Shop Rite, Stew Leonard's, Party City, Toys for Tots, Carolyn Donahue, C&S Grocery, The Hatch & Bailey Company, King Industries, Johnny Utah's, Klaff's, Lajoie's Auto Wrecking, Memo's Restaurant, Sequel International, and SONO Pizza.

A big thank you also to the Norwalk Public Safety Cadets for helping at the event and a special thanks to Officer Hector Delgado for helping to make it all happen.
